Charles Richard Brost

August 9, 1944 – April 30, 2024

“Chuck” Charles Richard Brost of Duluth passed away at home surrounded by his family on April 30, 2024. Chuck was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on August 9, 1944 and grew up in Altoona where he developed a love of the outdoors especially fishing. When he graduated from high school he enlisted in the Navy and was proud to have served his country. After his service in the Navy, Chuck was an EMT with Wilcol ambulance service and also worked as a nurses aide in Eau Claire. Chuck’s love of his life was his family. He and his wife Sandra would often take romantic walks in the Rose Garden along the lake. He also had a love of dogs, of which he had several over the course of his life, his present being Crystal. Chuck was also a big sports fan and the Green Bay Packers always held a special place in his heart.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Nellie Brost, wife Sandra Linder Brost, and brothers Ronald and Thomas Brost.

He was survived by daughter Suzanne Larsen, Son Erron(Jen) Brost Sr. , Daughter Tamara, brother Richard Brost, Sisters, Jeanne(Ed) Michels, Linda(Pat) Glenz, and Patty(George) Burk. Grandchildren Roger Larsen III and Jessica Larsen , Richard Larsen, Randy Larsen, Ryan Larsen, Heather Blix, Ethan Blix-Brost, Erron Brost Jr. Great Grandchildren Eric Larsen, Mila Larsen, Ava Larsen and many Nieces and Nephews.
