Henry Joseph Hinnenkamp

Feb 3,1930 – May 29, 2024

Henry Joseph Hinnenkamp, Feb 3,1930-May 29, 2024. Lifelong resident of Duluth, MN died May 29,2024. He was born to Henry & Gertrude Hinnenkamp. Henry graduated Morgan park H.S. 1048 and went on to later marry his H/S girlfriend Joyce Woods. Then raised their family of four kids in Morgan park. Henry & Joyce were married until her death in 1997. A year later he met his girlfriend for the next 20 plus years (Ruth Hauge) until her death. Henry worked for U.S. Steel for 32 years retiring upon closure of the plant. He served in the army during the Korean War. He was a duck hunter, deer hunter & really had a passion for brook trout & bass fishing.

Henry was preceded in death by his wife Joyce, his girlfriend Ruth. His parents, all 13 of his siblings. Best friend Jules (Jay) Coombes.

Survived by children: Jill & Bill Feick, Jay & Yvonne Hinnenkamp, Julie & Robyn Hinnenkamp , Jan & Merideth Hinnenkamp, 5 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
