You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you do not specifically ask for, we will explain the reasoning in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
Services within 30 mile radius. Beyond this radius, we charge $2 per loaded mile.
Our services include: Conducting the arrangements conference, consulting with family, shelter of remains, preparing and filing of necessary notices, obtaining necessary authorizations and permits. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs. (This fee is already included in our charge for direct cremations, and forwarding or receiving remains.)
Includes: Basic Services of Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead, transfer of remains to funeral home and cremation fee.
Minnesota law does not require you to purchase a casket for cremation. If you want to arrange a cremation, you can use a cremation container. A cremation container is combustible, closed container that encases the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or corrugated cardboard and into which a dead human body is placed prior to insertion into a cremation chamber for cremation. The containers we provide are fiberboard containers.
A complete price list will be provided at the funeral home.
