Karen was one of my first friends. We were baby boomers, and our neighborhood was filled with kids. Our parents were friends, our siblings were friends. It was perfect. Then Petersons moved to a bigger house with their family of seven children. Karen went to St. Kate’s High School and I went to City High. We always were friends. We reconnected at UND as we lived in the same dorm. It was always fun to catch up. Karen was always kind, sweet and friendly. She will be missed by all who loved her. I was one who loved her. God bless all of your family.
